KAHIKATEA TEAM MUSIC PROJECT

We had chosen a song to do for our assembly it ended up to be heathens. we all got to choose and instrument between the selection of them. I chose drums because i have training on Wednesdays which made it easier but it was only a simple beat so anyone could do it. on the day we were all fighting over who could be on the kit but then we finally found out who would go on. after it

We run on the field waiting for the whistle to blow brrrrr!

Olly catches the ball and gets tackled very well and this tells me this is not an easy team because Oliver is a very good rugby player. I can not remember most of it because it was a while ago. in the end, it was like 9 3.

to us, I got 3 tries and Oliver and Marcus got the rest. Then it was the year 6 game which I was not in the Hamilton east got a try pretty much a minute into the game from their biggest guy after all our year 6s were tackling really well but he just got out of them.

at about the last minute of the game there was a scrum right by their try line it was 3 4 to them Jacob dived out of the scrum and scored then we all celebrated.  😆😆😆😆😆😆😆

We arrive at nghahinapouri my old school that i used to go to we start doing some warm-ups because it's cold I look around I see one team with massive boys that we were going to verse i couldn't believe that they were year6s and 5s one of them was as big as Mr Gemmel. after all the warming up we get ready for our forst game against pokuru and kick off now i probalbly dont want to explain every single game because there were seven of them ill just  try explain the hardest one against oromatua.
for once im quite happy that im a sub but then its my turn to go on we throw it in and olly and jofie score our first and only 2 tries they end up with 1 try but they were about to tie with us but william saved nther

End of term review

End of term review term 3💩💩💩💩👌👌

This term I think I was really well behaved and think that I stepped out of my comfort zone.  My favorite part of this term was taking off my production costume at the last production. my least favorite part of this term was missing cross country but it didn't really matter because we did a 14k walk in Sydney city2surf 2017. I think I learned quite a bit more about maths I just want to more writing and reading I think I still need to work on my expression but spelling I think im doing really well by going to the great waikato spelling bee because aiden could not come I really enjoyed this term and excited for next term for touch and camp.

I had never done this sport before I had no idea what to expect got into buddies I budded up with William we first did some normal drills then we did some more hard stuff after all the practicing we had a game I was a sub first which wasn't very good I finally got to go on someone passed to me at the start of the game I tried to catch it with my stick but it slipped right out and our team damn. in the end I thought no one was going to but then William flings it in the goal at the very last few seconds.

We arrive at the event center waiting to get called to our groups we finally get called to where we go. our group walks down to the jungle gym first. that was my favorite place by far. We went around in rotation my favorite was the rope me and Luke had a race and I won by inches just. then I went on to the trampoline I did a flip just landing right then we do the obstacle course which is really fun then finally we go on the real bouncy trampoline I was thinking of doing a backflip but then I thought Nah better not risk it if I can only just land a front flip. But then the funs all over we head back to the event center for a fruit snack and then do our routines we were taught. In the end, I don't think gymnastics was really my thing.

PRODUCTION

for production I was haumiatiketike I was a god and I had two lines in it. it took me a long time to learn the song and the actions but not my lines. For every single play i was very nervous. personally i thought it was a bit of an achievement. I was the one in the gold out fit.

maths: I still haven't really got fractions yet I think i might of understanded  it a bit more though.

reading: for reading this week when we read through our books with our buddy's to write some information about it after we read it. But i would rather read while doing the information which is easier for me.

writing: i would like to do more writing because i really like writing.

maths: for math this week we have been learning fractions i have gone to horrible to okay but i still think i need more improvement.

reading: for reading this week i have been reading my production song but it is quite hard because i dont know Maori.

writing: for writing this week we have been doing a free writing sample. it was quite easy because because i do lots of things in the weekend and go places. and i also need to work a lot on my punctuation.

production: for production this week i have been practicing my actions, my song, and lines.

Reflection

math: For maths this week we have been doing my 2nd least favorite subject. decimals, but i think im starting to get the algorithms but I still dont like it😕

reading:when we were reading this week i think i was using a bit more expression with the character. But im still having trouble trying to find the wright book. this dosent have much to do with reading but also our cockroach popplet.

production: this week for production we have changed our actions and quite a few parts of it which i am super duper happy about because it is way more easier i just need a bit more of the actions because i was away but other than that i know all my lines.
