welcome to 2017 my name is lewis my favourite subject is spelling and my favourite sport is rugby and at lunch i usually play bull rush, ,manhunt, rugby and other games. i listen alot. i usually enter competitions when i can. thank you very much much much much for watching.

Stop smoking

Have you ever seen a homeless person on the street that's because they wasted all their money on those nasty cigarettes when they could have been in their cossy little beds at home but nope.

cigarettes are very expensive which causes people to rob petrol stations and dairies. in the U.S cigarettes cost 22 $ if smoking a pack a day and 160 $ a week and around 8,300$ a year. And this price increases every year. The cost of a cigarette packet will rise to about another 30 $ in the next four years.

Nearly 25 million $ is spent on cigarettes every day and.also for every pack of 20 cigarettes the government takes 15$.94.

The chemicals.

A single cigarette contains over 4,800 chemicals which 69 are  known to cause cancer. Their is a  drug called nicotine which make people addicted in the first place  . Tar is the term used to describe the toxic chemicals found in cigarettes.

The death rate

Around 5000 people die each year in NZ each year from smoking, which is around 13 people a day dead. and around 450,000 people die in the us.
 More than 1 billion people smoke around the  world and 5 million people die each year from tobacco related illnesses. And that’s pretty much about one person dying every six seconds. the new zealand government has set a goal that by 2025 fewer than 5% of new zealanders will be smokers .

If smoking is your personal choice why would you intentionally make the wrong choice, it has nasty drugs and chemicals in it and it's a waste of money and you're probably going to end up dead.  .`
