reflection week 11

my reflection

maths: for maths this week we did learn how to make new ways to work out big multiplications it was quite hard learning new ways and not the ones i already know heirs an example. 73 + 46 = 119 ( this is my way)first 7 + 4 = 11. 70 + 40 = 110. 3 + 6 = 9.  writing: for writing this week we have been on blogger on the computers alot to catch up which was quite fun. I really liked being able to say what happened and go back and look at it. like my MTB up and down pirongia mountain. we also did are weekly spelling on computers and i liked it.  reading: for reading this week i enjoyed reading  the couch. I dont really struggle with reading we also did brain bank i struggle a bit with brain bank  i need  be looking at what im copping other wise i usually get it wrong. i am looking ford to whenever camp is next year.

Integrity game

my integrity game 

 For my integrity game  i had a game called triple sport i was with William Y and braxsten H. First we did our instructions we had to get 1 basketball 1 hockey ball 1 soccer ball. And then we sorted out our equipment. after we finished  all of that stuff, we went to go and practice our game at the AstroTurf and it worked out quite good. 1 day later we tried it out with the kids  we take them over and explain it to them. They get it quite good we start it up there quite enthusiastic we finish up and pack up all the gear.

Mr gemmel

with Mr Gemmell we did music it was quite fun Trying new instruments and we also Made up sounds using our body. My Favorited was the guitar but i would have prefer ed the drums.

Mrs Hobbs

With Mrs Hobbs we made up  game for the little kids in rata Team ours was called triple sport. It was very hard to explain.  Sometimes they we're really fussy and just sat down but most of  them we're enthusiastic.

Mrs strathern

With Mrs strathern we learnt about the treaty of Waitangi. First we got into a group of 2, then we went for a walk to the redoubt and got some information and then we imagined there were no trees around. After that we went to start are filming it was very fun😆😆

 Senior swimming sports 2017 

senior swimming sports I had never done swimming sports before. I was extremely nervous and I was really proud of myself. I did freestyle and 2 length freestyle I didn't get any placings but I was still really proud of myself. I enjoyed it heaps though especially the fun😃 relay. i didn't do much other events though.

MTB riding week 7 Lewis.

My bike riding adventure up Mount pirongia.

my name is Lewis and that's 

me there. It was my first time mountain biking. I thought it was very fun. after morning tea the hikers went for there 3 hour walk.  then we went on the really easy track. we went for a snack and tried out  the easy track. We did a few laps of that and i thought that it was like the hard track  but it was actually the beginners track. my legs felt like they had fallen of. then we had a chance at having a go at the not so easy track. I was nervous but I did it I new i would regret it and i did. We started walking up the mountain. I was getting  nervous it was like my my first time going down the big drop at rainbows end. i got ready after the massive walk up. I got ready and whoosh! I was off. Whoa! i speed down the hill bang! i splash into a  pile of mud i get up and try my brakes but they didn't work. I tried again but they didn't work.  i walk the rest down i finally make it back and we head of.

lewis reflection week 10

reflection

maths in maths we did our place value which is really easy for me now. we also did our times table sheets which i am getting better everyday.

reading: in reading i read at home 15 minutes before I went to bed each night. I enjoyed doing book talk getting to see other peoples books.

writing: We did our learning conferences which was quite easy writing down it. The ck sentence was quite easy for me. We also published our simile writing.
